Law on Freedom of Media

Article 1. The
purpose of the law
The purpose of this
law is to secure freedom of expression of opinions by
persons as stated in the Civil Code, freedom of speech
and freedom of publishing.
Article 2. Ensuring
freedom of media
It shall be prohibited
to issue laws that restrict freedom of media and freedom
of communication media.
Article 3. Prohibiting
control over media
3.1. Media shall
have the responsibility for their published or broadcast
information. The state shall not impose control (censoring)
over the contents of public information.
3.2. The state shall
not establish and organisation to control published
and broadcast information, neither it shall finance
its activities.
Article 4. Prohibiting
media under government institutions
Government institutions
shall be prohibited from having media under their control/
jurisdiction
