Newspapers in Education
The project was funded
by World Association of Newspapers. Newspaper in Education
(NIE) program is the name of an educational partnership
between the newspaper industry and participating school
systems. The reach of NIE has expanded tremendously
over the decades in the world. Globe International first
introduced NIE in 1999. Kyung Hee Lee, journalist from
Korea visited Mongolia and met representatives of newspapers
and schools. She introduced the Mongolian publishers
and journalists with importance and role of NIE program.
